with heart adolescent

that fancied

the rich and dazzling

beauty

appealing,

but avaricious,

of the modest earnings

of the obliging prince at heart,

who

enticed in

the blindness of Love unyielding,

toiled in pain,

and sweated labor,

to offer a token

of love

"A Pair of Rosy White Rabbits"

which she acclaims,

but refuses love,

and he toils harder,

to earn her A Pair of Pink Slippers,

her avarice euphuistic,

she wears them with pride,

her ostentatious sentiments,

tiring the young heart,

yet effervescent with love,

he offers A Pair of Earrings,

The enchantress of his heart,

conceits the new gift,

of much significance to

the young man's toils,

but announces her imperious refusal!

Alas!

He stabs

his stiffened, but throbbing

heart

with a knife burnished,

to be a bait of

ruthless love!

Bleeding Heart!

His dreams still alive,

perpetual,

Take a glance into them,

to witness

his resplendent love!

Eyes perceive a

romantic bloom

streaked with pink

on the pendulous drop

that transforms

"A Lady in Bath"

This tells the tragic tale of the bloom "Bleeding Hearts". This young man was enticed in his love for this beautiful rich girl with princess like charm, he offered her a pair of rabbits first, then a pair of pink slippers, and toiled even hard to afford to gift her a pair of earrings, which the girl avariciously accepted, and denied the poor youths love. Heartbroken, he stabs himself with a knife, his heart bleeds, the blood dangles at the bottom, thus blooming as the "Bleeding Heart". A romantic tragedy.
